Pamela Dupre loves writing and animals. She grew up in Chicago and studied Music and Early Childhood Education. She has written family histories, poetry, and now, children’s books. Pamela has always loved Jesus and enjoys teaching children about Him.
Pamela lives in Texas with her husband, two dogs, and three cats. She has worked at an animal shelter, helping to find homes for pets and writing articles about them. Pamela supports many efforts to protect the environment and wildlife.
Pamela Dupre was inspired to write “Hugs for Jesus – Africa” due to her lifelong love for animals and deep faith in Jesus. Her experiences as an Adoption Counselor at an animal shelter and teaching Sunday School also played a significant role in her storytelling.
Each story shows how much Jesus cares for all His creations. This book is perfect for kids aged 2 and up, and it’s a great read-aloud for parents and grandparents.
